| Panoramic
photography, although having been around as a format for many years,
is becoming ever popular in the genre of landscape photography. The
power and impact of the format is perhaps greater than the traditional
3:2 format as it gives viewers a real sense of distance and scale.
The images in this collection were captured with
this panoramic format in mind and show a diverse range of subjects.
From the Common Gull sitting quietly at its nest in Islay, Scotland,
to the lone Bison grazing in Yellowstone National Park, they all
demonstrate the wide and often baron land in which they live.
