| Images
from the Light On The Land collection have been taken over many years.
The motivation behind this series was to demonstrate the immense significance
of light, be it strong or subtle, on our landscape. I firmly believe
that good lighting can make the difference between a poor picture
and a great one.
Images here can be as simple
as an isolated tree in Yosemite National Park being hit by the harsh
evening sunlight, or just a crest of a wave with a reflection of
the sun, or as complex as a panorama with an almost perfect reflection
and deep blue sky. However they all demonstrate the same principle
that stunning lighting really can result in breathtaking scenery
and, hopefully, breathtaking photographs.
